Ms Lau Mei Ho ("Ms Lau") brings over 30 years of experience in financial leadership, spanning financial reporting, corporate finance, treasury, taxation, investor relations, and strategic planning. Her expertise extends across diverse industries, including construction, oil and gas, toll concessions, highway maintenance, property development, manufacturing, and B2B commerce. She is also well-versed in performance monitoring, risk management, and financial operations across complex business environments.
She joined Metex Steel Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Chin Hin Group Berhad, in June 2014 as Senior Finance and Administration Manager. In April 2015, she was promoted to Financial Controller of Chin Hin Group Berhad, and in 2017, she assumed the role of Group Finance Director.
In her current capacity, she serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the Building Material Division of Chin Hin Group Berhad. Throughout her tenure, she has played a pivotal role in the Group's initial public offering (IPO), overall financial management, group taxation, risk management and numerous key corporate exercises.
Prior to joining Chin Hin Group, Ms. Lau held senior finance positions in companies involved in construction, property development, and infrastructure, including Bumimetro Construction Sdn Bhd and Lejadi Holdings Sdn Bhd. Earlier in her career, she served as Group Finance Manager at Alloy Consolidated Sdn Bhd, a company engaged in toll concessionaire, highway and road construction. She was responsible for overseeing consolidated financial reporting, cash flow management, and financial operations across various business units.
In addition to her primary role, Ms. Lau is also a director of several subsidiaries within the Building Material Division of Chin Hin Group Berhad. She holds directorship positions in numerous subsidiaries of Ajiya and serves as an authorized cheque signatory for all subsidiaries across both Ajiya and Chin Hin's building material operations.
