Madam Chu Nyet Kim has more than 40 years of working experience in taxation and accounting gained through her work with multinational companies and in a professional accounting firm.

She began her career at Harrisons & Crosfield (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd. as an Account Executive. She then worked as an Accountant at Houw Hing Co., a trading company based in Singapore, for 3 years before joining Deloitte Indonesia ("Deloitte") in Jakarta in 1989.  She was admitted as a partner at Deloitte in 1997 and later became a senior partner of Deloitte Southeast Asia Cluster, a role she held until her retirement in May 2016. 

During her tenure at Deloitte, she held various positions and specialised in taxation across diverse industries, including manufacturing, hospitality, financial institutions, mining and oil & gas. Her last designation was Tax Risk Leader/Deputy Tax Managing Partner of Deloitte, as well as Leader of Global Employer Services (a tax service line).  As the Tax Risk Leader of Deloitte Indonesia, she worked closely with Deloitte Southeast Asia Tax Risk Leader to build the tax risk management team in Indonesia. 

In addition to her directorship in the Company, she serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Leong Hup International Berhad and Comfort Gloves Berhad. She also sits on the Board of Directors of a private company and serves as a Commissioner of PT PZ Cussons Indonesia, a subsidiary of PZ Cussons plc, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange.

Madam Chu Nyet Kim is an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chairperson of Audit and Risk Management Committee of Comfort Gloves Berhad, whose subsidiaries are engaged in a business similar to the Company's non-core glove manufacturing segment. Accordingly, she is perceived to have a potential conflict of interest with the Company. 

In the event that an actual conflict of interest arises, she will declare the matters causing the conflict and abstain from deliberation and voting on the relevant matters to mitigate any issues related to conflict of interest.
