Tan Sri Razarudin bin Husain served as the 14th Inspector General of Police (IGP) of Malaysia, leading the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) with distinction until his retirement in June 2025. With over four decades of service, he is widely respected for his firm leadership, operational acumen, and commitment to institutional transformation, especially in areas of narcotics enforcement, border security, and talent development within the force.

He began his career as a Cadet Inspector on 27 December 1982 and rose steadily through the ranks, having served in various key positions across multiple states and at Bukit Aman, including District Police Chief, Director of the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (NCID), and Deputy Inspector General of Police. In June 2023, he was appointed as the country's top police officer, where he focused on modernising the force and uplifting the professional and academic standards of its personnel.

During his tenure, he introduced pioneering initiatives such as diploma qualifications for police constables, the proposed establishment of a dedicated police university in collaboration with UKM, and enhanced international cooperation with bodies like the Australian Federal Police and China's security forces. Under his leadership, PDRM executed several major national operations, including Op Hazard (targeting e-waste smuggling valued at RM2.8 billion), Op Sawmill (illegal logging raids worth RM97.3 million), and the dismantling of a child exploitation and cult syndicate involving GISB Holdings.
