Reference is made to the Company’s announcement dated 21 July 2025 regarding the resignation of the external auditors of New Hoong Fatt Holdings Berhad (“NHF” or “the Company”).

The Board of Directors of NHF wishes to announce that the Company has approved the appointment of Messrs. Grant Thornton Malaysia PLT (“Grant Thornton”) as the new external auditors of the Company and its subsidiaries for the financial year ending 31 December 2025. This appointment was made following a thorough assessment of Grant Thornton’s suitability, resources, competency, independence and proposed audit fees.

Grant Thornton has consented to act in this capacity pursuant to Section 264(5) of the Companies Act 2016.
