Reference is made to the Company's earlier announcements dated 15 April 2024, 10 June 2024, 16 July 2024, 16 October 2024 and 13 November 2024 in relation to the arbitration between Top International Engineering (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. and SymLife Star Kiara Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as TWY Development Sdn. Bhd.), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SymLife, arising from a project known as "TWY @ Mont Kiara".

The Board of Directors of SymLife wishes to announce the followings:

1. The Court Of Appeal (COA) on 7 August 2025 allowed Messrs. Zain Megat & Murad’s firm to be discharged as the Company’s solicitors without costs;
2. The Company (without legal representation) managed to object for discharge of stay of execution as prayed by the Defendant’s solicitors on record. Therefore, the stay of execution remains until the next Case Management (CM) date;
3. The COA Judges instructed the Company to appoint new solicitor for legal representation within 2 weeks by 21 August 2025;
4. The Next CM is fixed on 21 August 2025 to record new solicitor’s appointment for the Company and for further court’s directions;
5. ⁠The Company had appointed Messrs. Wong Kian Keong and they have accepted the appointment on 12 August 2025 to represent the Company for this on-going legal matter. Notice of Appointment had been filed to the court by Messrs. Wong Kian Keong on 12 August 2025.
