| Working experience and occupation | Ainul Azhar bin Ainul Jamal has over 40 years of experience in the energy, oil and gas industry, including a 34-year global career with Schlumberger. He held various leadership roles across Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Canada, France, and the UK, culminating as Executive Chairman for Schlumberger Asia Pacific. He also served as Vice President & Managing Director for Malaysia, Brunei, and the Philippines, and later as Managing Director of HiRex Petroleum Sdn Bhd. He was formerly an Independent Non-Executive Director of PETRONAS, where he chaired the Audit Committee and served on the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. He has held board and advisory roles with Gentari, Alam Maritim, UTP, InvestKL, MPRC, and MOGSC. He is currently a board member of Sarawak Energy Berhad, Yinson Holdings Berhad, Deleum Berhad, and a director at Cetco Energy Services. Ainul holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Sussex and has completed executive programmes at the University of Denver and IMD Business School. |
