Reference is made to the following:

1. The Disposal of Lot 1, Disposal of Lot 2, and Disposal of Lot 13 and 14 (as defined in the circular to shareholders dated 8 July 2021) where the Company had raised total proceeds of RM91.1 million (“Proceeds”); and
2. The Company’s announcements made on 14 September 2023, 13 September 2024 and 18 September 2024 in relation to the extension of timeframe for the utilisation of Proceeds.

To-date, the Company has yet to fully utilise the Proceeds. The Board of Directors of CFM (“Board”) wishes to announce that the Board has resolved to further extend the timeframe for the utilisation of the Proceeds for the working capital/future investment for another 12 months ("Extension of Time").

A summary of the revised utilisation of proceeds is set out below:

The Extension of Time is necessary to allow the Company additional time to utilise the Proceeds. The Extension of Time is primarily due to the ongoing insurance claim process following the fire outbreak on 2 July 2024, which may affect the timing and allocation of certain capital and operational expenditures. This Extension of Time will ensure that the Proceeds are used effectively and align with the Company’s objectives.

The Board is of the opinion that the Extension of Time is in the best interest of the Company. The Extension of Time is not subject to any authorities or shareholders' approval.

Nonetheless, the Company shall continue to be vigilant and prudent in managing the Proceeds and will continue to disclose the status of the utilisation in the Company's quarterly results and annual report until it is fully utilised.
