We refer to the announcements dated 31 July 2025, 4 August 2025, 8 August 2025 and 28 August 2025 in relation to the Proposed SCR. Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the previous announcements shall apply herein.

On behalf of the Board, UOBKH wishes to announce that the Board (save for the Interested Directors),  had on 29 September 2025 written to ACHSB to request for a further extension of time until 5.00 p.m. on 31 October 2025 for PinePac to respond to ACHSB with its decision on whether to table the Proposed SCR to the disinterested shareholders of PinePac for their consideration and approval (“Second Extension of Time”), as the independent valuer appointed by the Company (“Valuer”) is still in the midst of carrying out a valuation exercise on the plantation assets in Indonesia (“Plantation Assets”). The fair market value of the Plantation Assets (to be assessed by the Valuer) will be a key consideration for the Independent Adviser in arriving at its preliminary view on the Proposed SCR and for the Board’s (save for the Interested Directors) deliberation on the SCR Offer Letter.

On even date, ACHSB agreed to grant PinePac the Second Extension of Time, with all other terms and conditions as stated in the SCR Offer Letter remain unchanged.
