Reference is made to the announcement dated 17 January 2025 on the subject matter (“Announcement”). Unless otherwise stated, all definitions and terms used in this announcement shall have the same meaning as defined in the Announcement.

The Board of Directors of MHB wishes to announce that the Contract has been varied to include the construction of the Data Centre Main Works in Kuala Lumpur - Stage 1 Phase 2, Stage 2 and Stage 3 Phase 1 for a total contract sum of RM426,342,716.78 (“Amended Contract”). The revised contract sum is RM801,842,625.78 after including the 3 variation orders.  

DETAILS OF THE AMENDED CONTRACT

The Amended Contract is expected to be completed by April 2026 for Stage 1 Phase 2 and February 2027 for Stage 2 and Stage 3 Phase 1.

FINANCIAL EFFECTS

The Amended Contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of MHB Group for the financial years ending 31 December 2025, 2026 and 2027. The Amended Contract will not have effect on the share capital and shareholding structure of MHB.

RISK FACTORS

The risks associated with the Amended Contract are normal operational risks, which can be mitigated through MHB Group's system of project management controls.

DIRECTORS' AND MAJOR SHAREHOLDERS' INTERESTS

None of the Directors and/or major shareholders or persons connected to them have any interest, directly or indirectly interest in the Amended Contract.

DIRECTORS' STATEMENT

The Board of Directors of MHB is of the opinion that the acceptance of the Amended Contract is in the best interest of MHB Group.

The approval of NEXTDC Sdn Bhd to release this announcement is required and the Company has on 30 September 2025 obtained their approval to release the same.
