Reference is made to Meridian Berhad’s (“Meridian” or “the Company”) First Announcement dated 8 and 9 April 2024 in relation to the Company being classified as a PN17 Company pursuant to Practice Note 17 and First Announcement dated 26 September 2023 in relation to the Company being considered as an affected listed issuer under Paragraph 8.03A of the Main Market Listing Requirements (“MMLR”) of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Company, we wish to inform that M&A Securities Sdn Bhd had on 18 October 2024 announced that Bursa Malaysia has granted a first extension of time up to 25 March 2025 and had on 30 April 2025 announced that Bursa Malaysia has granted further extension of time up to 25 September 2025 to submit its regularisation plan to the relevant regulatory authorities for approval.

As at 25 September 2025 the Company had submitted a third extension of time application to Bursa Malaysia of nine months i.e. up to 25 June 2026 to submit its regularisation plan to the relevant regulatory authorities ("Third EOT Application").

As at the date of this announcement, the Third EOT Application is pending Bursa Malaysia’s decision. The Company will make the necessary announcement(s) regarding the Third EOT Application.
