Mr. Yong Li-Xiang graduated from Oregon State University, United States of America in Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering in December 2021. He is Student Affiliate of the National Society of Professional Engineers.

Mr. Yong started his first career in Oriental Fastech Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of the Company as a Product Engineer, specialising in the aerospace and telecommunication sectors. He was also entrusted with the role of Project Coordinator for the Company's major Enovix Battery Project ("Project"). Following the signing of agreement with Enovix Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., Mr. Yong served as Deputy Chief Operating Officer of Orifast Solutions Sdn. Bhd. to execute and establish the Project. Upon successful setting up of the Project, he was appointed as General Manager of a new operating site of the Company, taking full responsibility for the facility, including renovation, marketing, business development, operations etc.

Mr. Yong led negotiations for the proposed acquisitions of 4 companies from Allied Technologies Holdings Pte. Ltd. and is also actively engaging with several new battery and battery pack assembly customers to explore further business opportunities.

Mr. Yong Li-Xiang is the son of Mr. Yong Chan Cheah, the Group Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer and major shareholder of the Company. 

He is the nephew of Mr. Yong Swee Chuan and Madam Koh Pei San, the major shareholders of the Company.
