PMB Technology Berhad (PMBTECH 7172) wishes to inform that a fire incident occurred at its Silicon Plant in Samalaju Industrial Park, shortly after 6 pm last Saturday and has since been extinguished. This Silicon Plant is 100%-owned by its subsidiary i.e. PMB Silicon Sdn. Bhd. The fire started in one of the warehouses at the Samalaju facility and the blaze was contained to the warehouse. All other facilities remain unaffected, no inventories were lost and operations continue as normal.

We are grateful that swift evacuation procedures ensured there were no casualties happened. Based on the Company’s initial site examination assessment, the incident did not result in any material financial impact. The affected warehouse and the related facilities are adequately covered by insurance.
