We refer to the Company’s announcements made on 6 October 2020, 26 November 2020, 20 August 2021, 21 October 2021, 16 November 2021, 5 January 2022, 28 February 2021, 24 February 2023, 27 June 2023 and also the continuous updates reported of the abovementioned material litigation in the respective quarterly results commencing from the 4th Quarterly Result financial period ended 31 December 2020, in respect of the Kuala Lumpur High Court Civil Suit No. WA-22NCvC-635-10/2020 for Gabungan Strategik Sdn Bhd (“GSSB”)  is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, against:-

1. Geonamics (M) Sdn Bhd (“1st Defendant”)

2. Jurutera Perunding Primareka Sdn Bhd (“2nd Defendant”)

3. Yee Yong Yip (“3rd Defendant”)

4. Tiong Ping Siing (“4th Defendant”)

5. Tang Pui San (“5th Defendant”)

6. Mohd Noor Nazrul Bin Mohd Yusof (“6th Defendant”)

7. Azmi Bin Md Aziz (“7th Defendant”)

8. Wong Kee Choo (“8th Defendant”)

9. Choon Suan Fatt (“9th Defendant”)

10. Ahmad Bashti Bin Azmi (“10th Defendant”)

11. Foo Mun Pong (“11th Defendant”)

[collectively the “Defendants”].

The Company wishes to announce that subsequent to the trial of the preliminary issues which took place between 4 and 7 August 2025, the parties eventually reached a global settlement of their dispute. The Company agrees to withdraw its claim against the 1st and 2nd Defendants with no Order as to costs. The 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 9th, 10th and 11th Defendants, on the other hand, admitted liability for breaches of their respective employment contracts, and agreed to pay nominal damages to the Company. The parties then entered into a Consent Judgment before the High Court on 13 November 2025, which was sealed by the Court on 20 November 2025. Insofar as the 7th and 8th Defendants are concerned, as they were not represented throughout the proceedings, the Company obtained Judgment in Default against them.
