Reference is made to the earlier announcements dated 12 November 2024, 25 November 2024 and 24 March 2025 (the “Announcements”) in respect of the Counterclaim filed by CN Eleco Engineering Sdn. Bhd. ("CN Eleco”) against MIE Industrial Sdn. Bhd. (“MIE”) and Seremban Engineering Berhad (“SEB” or the “Company”). Unless otherwise stated, all abbreviations used herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the Announcements.

The Board of Directors (“Board”) of the Company wishes to announce that CN ELECO, being the Plaintiff (in the Counterclaim) in Kuala Lumpur High Court, Suit No.: WA-22C-53-08/2025 (“Suit 53”) (formerly known as Shah Alam High Court Suit No.: BA-22C-36-10/2024) has notified SEB on its decision to discontinue its action against SEB by filing a Notice of Discontinuance on 11 December 2025 based on the following terms:

a) Costs of RM15,000.00 payable by CN Eleco to SEB within 21 days from the filing date of the Notice of Discontinuance; and

b) The discontinuance is done without liberty to file afresh in respect of the matters previously pleaded against SEB in the Suit 53.

Accordingly, SEB is no longer a party (in the Counterclaim), hence there are no further claims by CN Eleco against SEB in respect of the Suit 53.
