Richard Ling will be appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Group with effect from 1 January 2026. He will be responsible to lead the Group driving the Group's strategic directions & expansion, leadership & performance, brand development & products evolution, with a focus on sustaining growth while enhancing long-term stakeholder value and corporate value.
In 2023, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer, where he oversaw the Group's day-to-day operations, operational execution, internal controls and cost management initiatives.
He joined the Shin Yang Holding Group in 1997 as an Accountant at Forescom Plywood Berhad. In 1998, he was appointed Senior Accountant at the headquarters of Shin Yang Sdn. Bhd., where he was primarily responsible for the Group's financial reporting functions.
Since 2008, he has overseen the Group's treasury and corporate finance functions, including funding strategies, banking relationships and capital management. In 2009, he was promoted to Financial Controller and Company Secretary of Shin Yang Group Berhad, and was later redesignated as Chief Financial Officer, leading the Group's finance, accounting, taxation and corporate secretarial functions. |
