ELSOFT RESEARCH BERHAD (“Elsoft) wishes to announce that AGS Automation (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. a  wholly-owned subsidiary of Elsoft had on 1 January 2026 commenced members' voluntary winding up pursuant to Section 439(1)(b) of the Companies Act, 2016 (“Voluntary Winding Up”).

Pursuant thereto, Ms. Ooi Yoong Yoong of Messrs. AD-Consult (Penang) Sdn Bhd, located at 39 Irving Road, 10400 Georgetown, Pulau Pinang has been appointed as Liquidator of AGS Automation (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.

AGS Automation (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is currently inactive and has no intention of carrying on business or operations in the future.

The Voluntary Winding Up of AGS Automation (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.  is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings or net assets of Elsoft Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2026.

None of the Directors or major shareholders of Elsoft or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the Voluntary Winding Up.
