Astro Malaysia Holdings Berhad (“AMH”) wishes to announce that on 12 January 2026, Tayangan Unggul Sdn Bhd (Registration No. 199501036747 (365949-V)) (“TUSB”),  an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of AMH, has commenced a Member's Voluntary Winding Up pursuant to Section 439(1)(b) of the Companies Act 2016 (“Voluntary Winding Up”). Mr. Gerard Thiagarajan A/L Rajaratnam of Unit C-02-03, Level 2, Block C, Southbank Commercial Centre, No. 179, Jalan Klang Lama, 58000 Kuala Lumpur has been appointed as the Liquidator of TUSB.

The Voluntary Winding-Up is part of a group streamlining exercise undertaken by AMH. TUSB was inactive prior to the commencement of the Voluntary Winding Up. This exercise is not expected to have any material impact on the earnings and net assets of the AMH group for the financial year ending 31 January 2026, nor expected to have any impact on the operations of the AMH group.

None of the Directors or major shareholders and/or persons connected with a Director or major shareholder of AMH have any interest, direct or indirect, in the Voluntary Winding Up.
