(For consistency purposes, the abbreviations and definitions used throughout this announcement shall have the same meanings as those previously defined in the announcement made on 13 February 2025 unless stated otherwise.)

Reference is made to the Company’s announcement dated 13 February 2025 in relation to the Writ of Summons and Statement of Claim served on Autohome Motor Sdn. Bhd. & 18 others.

The Board of Directors of Careplus wishes to inform that the trial/hearing dates have been fixed by the High Court on 24 July 2026, 7 October 2026, 8 October 2026, and from 12 October 2026 to 15 October 2026.

The Plaintiff had, on 14 January 2025, filed an application for a Mareva Injunction against all the Defendants, including NexV Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. (“NMSB”). The Mareva Injunction application in respect of the 8th and 9th Defendants was subsequently dismissed by the High Court.

On 9 April 2025, NMSB filed an application to strike out the Plaintiff’s suit. The hearing of this application was fixed on 7 July 2025 and was heard together with NMSB’s application objecting to the filing of the Amended Statement of Claim and Amended Writ of Summons by the Plaintiff. The High Court dismissed both applications, and thereafter, NMSB filed its Amended Defence on 23 July 2025.

The striking out applications filed by the 2nd to 8th Defendants, the 15th Defendant, and the 16th to 19th Defendants were likewise dismissed by the High Court. During the Case Management conducted on 23 October 2025, the High Court directed all parties to file the Bundle of Documents by 26 November 2025 and the respective Witness Statements by 26 December 2025.

The Board will make the necessary disclosures of any material developments arising from the above matter in the Company’s quarterly results announcements, where applicable.
