Reference is made to the Company’s announcement dated 15 December 2021 pertaining to the Heads of Agreement (“HOA”) entered into between Victoria STS (Labuan) Sdn Bhd and Fender Care Marine (Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd (“Announcement”). Unless otherwise stated, all definitions and terms used in this announcement shall have the same meaning as defined in the Announcement.
The Board of Directors (“Board”) of Straits wishes to announce that on 16 January 2026, both Parties had mutually agreed to terminate the HOA as there was no concrete and definitive agreement on the Proposal.
The termination will not have any material financial impact on Straits Group.
The Board, having considered all aspects of the termination, is of the opinion that the termination is in the best interests of the Company.
