We refer to the Company’s announcements dated 16 October 2025 and 24 October 2025.

The Company wishes to announce that Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") had, vide its letter dated 16 January 2026, granted the Company an extension of time up to 30 June 2026 to submit its regularisation plan to the Securities Commission Malaysia ("SC") for approval ("Extended Timeframe"). Details of the letter is as follows:

Bursa Securities has further decided to suspend and de-list the securities of the Company from the Official List of Bursa Securities pursuant to Paragraph 8.03(2) of the Main Market Listing Requirements ("Main LR") in the event:-

(i) the Company fails to submit the regularisation plan to the relevant authorities for approval within the Extended Timeframe;

(ii) the Company fails to obtain the  approval for the implementation of its regularisation plan and does not appeal within the timeframe (or Extended Timeframe, as the case may be) prescribed to lodge an appeal;

(iii) the Company does not succeed in its appeal; or

(iv) the Company fails to implement its regularisation plan within the timeframe or extended timeframes stipulated by the relevant authorities.

Upon occurrence of any of the events set out in paragraphs (i) to (iv) above:-

(a) the trading of the securities of PEB shall be suspended on the 6th market day from the date of notification of suspension by Bursa Securities or such other date as may be specified by Bursa Securities ("Suspension Date"); and 

(b) the securities of PEB shall be de-listed from the Official List of Bursa Securities conditional upon the Company's compliance with Paragraph 8.03(9) of the Main LR. In this respect, pursuant to Paragraph 2.23 of the Main LR, PEB is directed to comply with the following:-

1. announce its proposal to distribute all the monies and interests which were deposited in accordance with Paragraph 8.03(4) of the Main LR to the shareholders of the Company on a pro-rata basis ("the Pro-Rata Distribution Proposal") within 2 months from the date of notification of de-listing by Bursa Securities; and 
2. complete implementation of the Pro-Rata Distribution Proposal within 6 months from the date of announcement of the proposal.

The securities shall be removed from the Official List of Bursa Securities upon completion of the Pro-Rata Distribution Proposal and the expiry of 2 market days from the date the Company is notified by Bursa Securities or on such other date as may be specified by Bursa Securities. 

PEB may submit an appeal for a further extension of time / against de-listing ("Appeal") within 5 market days from the date of notification of de-listing by Bursa Securities and the de-listing of the securities of the Company from the Official List of Bursa Securities will be deferred pending the decision on the Appeal. However, the trading of the securities of PEB will be suspended on the Suspension Date, regardless of/pending the decision of the Appeal. 

In arriving at the above decision to suspend and de-list the securities of the Company, Bursa Securities had considered, amongst others, the following factors:-

(1) Since the First Announcement on 31 May 2018, PEB had approximately 7 years 6.5 months to regularise the Company's condition in accordance with paragraph 8.03(5) of the Main LR.

(2) All Cash Companies are required to regularise their condition expeditiously within the timeframes prescribed in paragraph 8.03(5) of the Main LR, or extended timeframe as may be granted by Bursa Securities and PEB had failed to regularise its condition in accordance with paragraph 8.03(5)(a) of the Main LR.

(3) The requirement for a Cash Company to regularise its condition serves to ensure market quality as well as to preserve and sustain market integrity and investors' confidence.

(4) In the opinion of Bursa Securities, adequate time and opportunity had been accorded to PEB to regularise its condition since the First Announcement on 31 May 2018.
