YBhg. Dato' Ir. Sabri Bin Abdul Mulok has over 38 years of experience in civil engineering, hydrology, water resources, flood management and national disaster risk management.

He is currently Technical Director at Dr. Nik & Associates Sdn. Bhd. (since May 2024), leading water resources, flood mitigation, and engineering design projects, and serves as Adjunct Professor at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (MJIIT), contributing expertise in hydraulic engineering, water resources, flood management, and disaster risk reduction.

Previously, he held senior leadership roles at the Department of Irrigation and Drainage ("DID") Malaysia, including Deputy Director General (Business Sector and Specialist Sector), Director of the Flood Management Division, and Director of DID Penang. His portfolio encompassed national hydrology and water resources, flood and stormwater management, river management, the National Water Balance (NAWABS), and the delivery of major flood mitigation infrastructures.

He also served as Director (Mitigation Section) at the National Disaster Management Agency, overseeing national disaster risk management policies and mitigation strategies.

Earlier in his career, he led major national projects, notably the SMART Tunnel Kuala Lumpur Flood Mitigation Project, and developed deep technical expertise in hydrodynamic modelling, flood risk assessment, National Water Balance (NAWABS), Geographical Information System, urban drainage, coastal and dam engineering, irrigation, and multidisciplinary infrastructure planning.

At the international level, he has represented Malaysia at forums including the 27th Conference of the Parties under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, and ASEAN/Korea water leadership platforms, with extensive contributions to publications, academic supervision, and national policy development in climate resilience and disaster risk reduction.
