Reference is made to the Company’s announcements made on 17 December 2021, 7 January 2022, 9 February 2022, 9 March 2022, 15 July 2022, 9 February 2023, 5 April 2023, 14 June 2023, 15 August 2023, 12 October 2023, 4 December 2023, 7 February 2024, 27 March 2024, 11 September 2024, 8 November 2024,15 November 2024, 3 March 2025, 24 June 2025, 16 October 2025, 6 January 2026 and 7 January 2026 in relation to the Civil Suit No. BA-23NCVC-24-04/2021 Zeti Ismrizan Binti Isa & 5 Ors vs. Spring Energy Sdn Bhd (“Suit 24”). Unless otherwise stated, the terms stated herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the earlier announcements.

The Board of Directors of Advancecon wishes to update that the High Court partially allowed the Plaintiffs’ claim with costs of RM20,000.00. The Court awarded general damages, with the quantum to be assessed later, and dismissed the Plaintiffs’ claims for special, aggravated and exemplary damages. SESB’s third-party claim was dismissed with costs of RM10,000. Further submissions on general damages are due by 26 January 2026, with the decision on quantum fixed for 3 February 2026. SESB is considering an appeal against the High Court's decision.
