Sime Darby Behad (“Sime Darby”) wishes to announce the incorporation of Sime Darby Auto Stuttgart Sdn Bhd (“SDAS”), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Sime Darby, on 9 April 2019. The Notice of Registration of SDAS dated 9 April 2019 issued by the Companies Commission of Malaysia was received by Sime Darby Auto Bavaria Sdn Bhd, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Sime Darby, on 9 April 2019.

SDAS was incorporated as a private company limited by shares in Malaysia under the Companies Act 2016. The entire issued share capital of SDAS of RM1.00 comprising one (1) ordinary share is held by Sime Darby Motors Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sime Darby.

The principal activities of SDAS are manufacturing and assembly of auto components for motor vehicles.

The incorporation of SDAS is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings or net assets of the Sime Darby Group for the financial year ending 30 June 2019. None of the Directors or major shareholders of Sime Darby or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the incorporation.
