Introduction

The Board of Directors of the Company is pleased to announce that Pintaras (East Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company has received a Letter of Award dated 2 February 2026 for a subcontract to undertake the construction of a proposed bridge in Kuching, Sarawak. 

Salient Terms of the Contract

The contract has a total value of RM35.5 million. Work will commence immediately for a duration of 29 months. The scope of works includes earthworks, piling, pile caps, bridge abutments, piers and bridge superstructure works.

Risk Factors

There are no foreseeable significant risks other than operational risks associated with the contract during the contract period.

Financial Effects

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the contract is expected to contribute positively towards the future earnings of the Group for the duration of the contract.  The contract will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of the Company. 

The Group intends to fund the contract through internally generated funds.

None of the Directors, substantial shareholders or persons connected to them has any direct or indirect interest in the contract.
