We refer to the announcements dated 24 October 2025, 14 November 2025 and 19 November 2025 in relation to non-compliance with the Public Shareholding Spread.
The Board wishes to announce that based on the record of depositors of MPB as at 24 February 2026, the public shareholding spread of MPB stood at 22.34%. Accordingly, the Company does not comply with the Public Spread Requirement.
Notwithstanding the above, Bursa Securities had vide its letter dated 14 November 2025 granted the Company an extension of time of six (6) months until 23 April 2026 to comply with the Public Spread Requirement.
As at the date of this announcement, the Company has yet to formulate any rectification plan to address the shortfall in the Public Spread Requirement. The Company will continue to monitor the level of the Public Shareholding Spread and make the necessary announcements in relation to the status of its effort to comply with the Public Spread Requirement.
