Datuk Dr Haji Mazlan bin Ahmad is a seasoned governance and financial services professional with over two decades of experience in regulatory oversight, financial intelligence, strategic planning and institutional development.

He previously served for more than 20 years at Bank Negara Malaysia, where he held key leadership roles in strategic planning, human resource management, branch operations and financial crime enforcement. His extensive experience in policy development and procedural enhancement has earned him strong recognition within the financial services industry.

Datuk Dr Mazlan is widely regarded as a pioneer in Islamic Social Finance, particularly in advancing transparency and governance within the waqf and social financing ecosystem. He has championed the integration of blockchain technology to strengthen accountability, enhance systemic management and restore public confidence in Islamic social finance frameworks.

He is the Founder of Masyi Group and has been instrumental in its growth and diversification across multiple sectors including construction, property development, tourism, food and beverage, financial services, banking, management and advisory services. He also serves as Director of several corporate entities and acts as a Corporate Advisor to prominent institutional stakeholders.

In the area of governance and anti-corruption, Datuk Dr Mazlan has served as a member of the Panel Review of Operations of the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) since 2018, appointed by successive Prime Ministers. He was also appointed as an industry expert to the Prime Minister's Special Taskforce on the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI).

He currently serves as an elected Council Member of both MIA and MAICSA, reflecting his standing and contribution within the professional community.
