Reference is made to the earlier announcement dated 18 September 2023 in relation to the Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) entered into between Theta Edge Berhad (“Theta” or “the Company”) and Cybernetica AS (“Cybernetica”).

The Board of Directors of Theta wishes to provide an update on the status of the MOU.

Following further engagements between the parties, the Company and Cybernetica are currently exploring potential areas of collaboration in relation to the development and integration of trust services and secure interoperability capabilities within selected digital platform services being developed by the Company. These capabilities are intended to support secure data exchange, authentication, and trusted digital interactions across platform ecosystems.

The discussions remain at an exploratory stage and are aligned with the Company’s ongoing development of digital platform solutions. As at the date of this announcement, no definitive agreement has been entered into between the parties in relation to the proposed collaboration.

The Company will make the necessary announcement to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad should there be any material development arising from the MOU.
