1. INTRODUCTION

Reference is made to the announcement made on 20 November 2015.

The Company wishes to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Cypark Smart Technology Sdn. Bhd. (“CST”) has agreed with the Government of Malaysia (“Government”) and the Solid Waste and Public Cleansing Management Corporation (“SWCORP”) (collectively the Government, SWCORP and CST are hereby referred to as “Parties”) to develop the Phase 2 of the WTE Plant at Ladang Tanah Merah, Port Dickson, subject to the terms and conditions to be mutually agreed between the Parties.

This development is pursuant to the Supplementary Concession Agreement dated 6 March 2026 which supplements the Concession Agreement dated 9 November 2015 signed between the Parties.

2. FINANCIAL EFFECTS

Subject to the final negotiation between the Parties, the construction of the Phase 2 WTE Plant is anticipated to yield sustained positive contributions to the Group’s future earnings over its lifespan.

3. DECLARATION OF INTEREST

None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of the Company and/or persons connected to them have any interest, whether direct and/or indirect, in the transaction.
