Unless otherwise defined, all abbreviation and definitions used herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the Announcement dated 11 March 2026.

Further to the Company’s Announcement dated 11 March 2026 in respect to the PAYMENT CLAIM UNDER CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY PAYMENT AND ADJUDICATION ACT 2012 ("CIPAA") [AIAC/D/ADJ-5829-2025], the Company wishes to announce the following additional information:-

We wish to clarify that the delay in announcing these developments was neither intentional nor a result of a lack of transparency. The delay was primarily caused by:

1. Internal Miscommunication and Oversight: Information regarding the adjudication and High Court's decisions and the subsequent filing of appeals in September 2025 was not escalated from the subsidiary company to Widad’s compliance team in a timely manner.

2. Transition of Personnel: During the material time, WBSB underwent a change in the Key Person in Charge ("PIC") for its administrative portfolio. The handover process was incomplete, and the incoming PIC required a period to identify and report active litigation files to the Group level.

The Company will continue to monitor the situation closely and make further announcements as required under the Listing Requirements.
