UMEDIC GROUP BERHAD ("UMC") wishes to announce that UWHC Sdn Bhd ("UWHC") a wholly-owned subsidiary of UMC has on 1 April 2026 commenced members' voluntary winding up pursuant to Section 439(1)(b) of the Companies Act, 2016 ("Voluntary Winding Up").

Pursuant thereto, Ms. Ooi Yoong Yoong of Messrs. AD-Consult (Penang) Sdn Bhd, located at 39 Irving Road, 10400 Georgetown, Pulau Pinang has been appointed as Liquidator of UWHC.

UWHC is currently inactive and has no intention to carry on business or operations in the future.

The Voluntary Winding Up of UWHC is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings or net assets of UMC Group for the financial year ending 31 July 2026.

None of the Directors or major shareholders of UMC or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the Voluntary Winding Up.
