The Board of Directors of Kobay Technology Bhd. ("Kobay" or "the Company") wishes to announce that the Employees' Share Option Scheme of the Company ("ESOS"), which was implemented on 19 April 2016 ("Implementation Date"), will expire on 18 April 2026 ("Expiry Date") in accordance with the terms and conditions of the by-laws governing the ESOS ("By-Laws").

The ESOS has a duration of ten (10) years from the Implementation Date. Upon the Expiry Date, the ESOS will lapse and no further options shall be granted thereafter.

As at the date of this announcement, no options have been granted under the ESOS since its implementation and accordingly, there are no outstanding options.

The expiry of the ESOS is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings per share, net assets per share, gearing, share capital and substantial shareholders' shareholdings of the Company for the financial year ending 30 June 2026.

The Board does not intend to extend or renew the ESOS.
