Further to the announcement made on 12 March 2026, the Board of Directors of Hong Seng wishes to announce that during the case management fixed on 21 April 2026,the Plaintiffs' solicitors informed the High Court that the Plaintiffs were seeking an adjournment of the trial dates scheduled from 3 May 2027 to 6 May 2027. The Defendants' Solicitors further informed the Court that the Defendants have no objection to the said request.

 

In light of the above, the High Court has given the following directions:

 
(1) The trial dates from 3 May 2027 to 6 May 2027 are vacated;
(2) New trial dates have been fixed from 8 June 2027 to 10 June 2027; and
(3) Case management is fixed on 29 June 2026 at 9:00 a.m. by way of Zoom before YA Dato Edwin Paramjothy a/l Michael Muniandy, for parties to update the Court on the status of settlement and/or Court mediation.
