| Working experience and occupation | Encik Amir Nashrin bin Johari ("En. Nash") began his career in the financial assurance divisions of EY Malaysia and KPMG Malaysia from 2014 to 2017. During this period, he was involved in external financial audit engagements across a broad spectrum of industries, including a large national non-profit organisation, trading businesses, manufacturing, hospitality, banking, and real estate management.
While at KPMG, En. Nash also served as a management consultant within the firm's Strategy & Operations Advisory practice. In this role, he contributed to a wide range of engagements involving economic planning, policy evaluation, corporate governance assessments, and reviews of financial and commercial strategies for clients in both the public and private sectors.
He currently holds directorships in JAG Capital Berhad, C.I. Holdings Berhad and Central Cables Berhad. Over the past eleven (11) years, En. Nash has accumulated extensive experience through various management and executive positions across multiple industries. His career spans audit and management consulting, technology-driven start-ups, private investment firms, and a public-listed cable manufacturing company based in Melaka. His professional responsibilities have encompassed corporate finance, strategic management, asset management, credit control, business development, accounting, treasury operations, and information systems.
Beyond his professional career, En. Nash has actively contributed to several non-profit initiatives in his personal capacity. These include involvement with a special needs care centre, a refugee support centre, a digital non-profit directory, community garden initiatives, and youth development programmes. |
