Reference is made to the Company's announcements dated 7 November 2025, 21 November 2025 and 12 February 2026 pertaining to the MOU entered into between Verdant Solar with Montfort and SET ("Announcements"). 

 

Unless otherwise stated, all defined terms and abbreviations used in this announcement shall carry the same meaning as those defined in the Announcements.

 

Further to the Announcements, the Board wishes to announce that the Company has commenced the installation of a rooftop solar PV system at Montfort in Sabah. The solar installation forms part of Verdant Solar's ongoing CSR agenda and SET's sustainability initiative, namely "Brightening Lives, Empowering Futures."

 

The commencement of the installation marks a significant milestone in the collaboration between the Parties under the MOU, which aims to promote sustainable energy adoption, enhance technical learning opportunities in Sabah, and contribute to improving employment opportunities within the local community.
