The terms used herein, unless the context otherwise stated, bear the same meaning as those defined in the earlier announcements in relation to the Acquisitions and Tenancies.
We refer to the earlier announcements dated 29 August 2024, 25 February 2025, 27 February 2025, 28 May 2025, 28 July 2025, 12 September 2025, 30 September 2025, 17 October 2025 and 27 February 2026 in relation to the Acquisitions and Tenancies.
On behalf of the Board, UOBKH wishes to announce that the conditional period under SPA 3 in relation to the acquisition of the remaining lease interest in the Klang industrial property has expired on 28 May 2026, and the parties have mutually agreed to terminate SPA 3 with effect from 28 May 2026.
Upon the termination of SPA 3, CLSB shall refund to the Trustee the deposit and thereafter, SPA 3 shall be null and void and of no effect whatsoever and neither party shall have any right or claim against the other arising out of SPA 3.
For information, the termination of SPA 3 will not have any material financial impact on the earnings per unit, distribution per unit and net asset value per unit of KIP REIT for the financial year ending 30 June 2026.
