Ms Chong has served as the Group Chief Financial Officer of Inari Amertron Berhad since 15 October 2015.

She holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Malaya and is a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). She is also a member of the ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountant (ASEAN CPA). In 2014, she  completed the Senior Management Programme at the INSEAD Business School (Institut Europen d'Administration des Affaires) in Fontainebleau, France.

On 28 February 2025, Ms Chong was appointed as a Committee Member of the Professional Accountants In Business (PAIB), a professional body and committee established by the MIA Council. In this capacity, she contributes to the advancement of the accounting profession through regulatory enhancements, professional development and strategic initiatives engagement.

With over 30 years of professional experience, Ms Chong has developed extensive experience across a broad spectrum of financial, operational and strategic disciplines. Her areas of proficiency include group corporate consolidation and financial reporting, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, equity fund raising, taxation, budgeting and cost management, ERP system implementation, internal controls, risk management, corporate governance, regulatory compliance and sustainability.

Ms Chong began her professional career in 1995 and has since held senior leadership positions in both private and publicly listed companies. Her extensive experience spans in companies listed on Bursa Malaysia Main Board across various sectors including semiconductors and technology, manufacturing, construction, property development and utilities. Ms Chong plays a pivotal role in shaping the Group's financial strategy, driving sustainable growth, strengthening governance and risk management practices, and supporting long term value creation for stakeholders.
