Appointment

Dato' Yeo How began his career with an articleship at Deloitte Malaysia, where he qualified as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). 

From 1983 to 2008, Dato' Yeo was with the IOI Group, serving in various positions including as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) . He was instrumental in overseeing the financial management, mergers and acquisitions, funding strategies, investor relations and governance matters. When IOI Group expanded downstream into palm oil refining, oleochemicals and specialty fats, he concurrently held the role of Executive Director where he was responsible for overseeing the growth of the Group's downstream businesses. 

In 2008, after 25 years with IOI Group, Dato' Yeo How sought new professional challenges and joined Royal Golden Eagle (RGE), a privately held global conglomerate headquartered in Singapore with businesses spanning pulp & paper, dissolved pulp, oil & gas and agribusiness. At RGE, he led the agribusiness expansion into mid and downstream business activities. The agribusiness group under the name of Apical Group grew to be the largest processed palm oil exporter out of Indonesia and the world's second largest integrated palm oil player with diversified businesses in refining, oleochemicals, functional fats, biodiesel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).

Dato' Yeo How has also contributed to the accounting profession through his past services as a member of the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board (MASB) and Board of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA).
