Reference is made to our announcements dated 29 December 2023, 29 January 2024, 31 May 2024, 30 October 2024,19 March 2026 and 29 May 2026.

The Board of Directors of BKCB wish to inform that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Optimal Property Management Sdn Bhd ("OPM"), had on 26 June 2026 received a reply from Universiti Islam Melaka Berhad (formerly known as Kolej Teknologi Islam Melaka Berhad) ("UIMB") in response to BKCB's letter dated 25 May 2026 setting out the conditions for the proposed extension of the EISP for the period from 1 July 2026 to 31 December 2026 ("EISP 1").

UIMB has informed the Company that it agrees in principle to the terms and conditions proposed by BKCB for the extension of EISP 1, subject to the necessary approvals, finalisation of the relevant terms and execution of the appropriate transaction documents.

UIMB has also informed the Company that it expects to provide its final decision on the proposed settlement arrangement on or before 31 July 2026.

Accordingly, the Company will continue to engage with UIMB with a view to finalising the proposed settlement arrangement and will make the necessary announcements as and when there are any material developments.
