Mr. Brass began his career in 1995 with KPMG Deutsche Treuhand-Gesellschaft AG in Frankfurt as an Auditor in the Financial Services Group. In 1996, he joined Deutsche Bank Realty Advisors Inc. in New York, where he was involved in finance, treasury, and reporting functions for real estate investment funds. In 2001, he joined Deutsche Bank AG in Frankfurt, contributing to external financial reporting and financial analysis. In 2002, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Cartop Systems, a joint venture between DaimlerChrysler and Porsche, where he oversaw financial accounting, consolidation and treasury functions.
He subsequently joined Airbus Group of France and Germany in 2003 and served the organisation for more than a decade, holding several Vice President positions across corporate finance functions including treasury, divisional controlling, planning and reporting, and investor relations.
Following his tenure at Airbus Group, he held senior finance leadership roles with several multinational organisations including GEA Group (Germany), Vinventions (USA/Belgium), Seaspan Shipyards (Canada) and Atalian Group (France/Belgium), where he was involved in finance transformation initiatives, group reporting and operational performance management.
From 2022 to 2025, he served as Chief Financial Officer of NOSCENDO Group, a biotechnology start-up with operations across Germany, France, the United Kingdom and the United States of America, where he led financial restructuring initiatives and supported the company's growth and funding activities. He has also served on the boards of various entities across Europe, North America and Asia, including Eurocopter Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Eurocopter South East Asia Pte Ltd and Airbus Helicopters Canada.
He has over 30 years of international experience across Europe and North America in corporate finance, investor relations and governance, contributing valuable strategic and financial expertise to the Board. |
