Reference is made to the Company's announcements dated 28 November 2024, 22 May 2025 and 28 October 2025. Unless stated otherwise, all the definitions and terms used herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the said announcement.

The Board of Directors of AZAM JAYA wishes to announce that MBB had filed a Motion for leave to appeal to the Federal Court ("FC") against the Court of Appeal of Malaysia ("COA") decision in S-02(NCvC)(W)-1742-09/2022. This Motion under Civil Application No. 08(f)-369-10/2025(S) was heard by the Federal Court on 10.03.2026 and the Federal Court granted leave to MBB to appeal.

MBB had also filed a Motion to stay before the COA. On 24.06.2026, the COA ordered amongst all others, that Maybank pay the Judgment sum of RM4,263,528.40 together with interest at 2% per month from 06.04.2020 until the date of the COA Order (24.06.2026) with PAJ's solicitors as stakeholder pending Maybank's appeal to the Federal Court to be heard and finally disposed of by the Federal Court. Orders are pending extraction. MBB had duly deposited with us the sum. 

MBB's appeal to the FC has now been registered under Civil Appeal No. 02(f)-28-04/2026(S). During the case management on 03.06.2026, the FC noted that the ground of decision is still pending from the COA. The case was fixed for further case management on 15.07.2026. Record of Appeal ("ROA") had subsequently been filed by MBB. No hearing date has been fixed for the appeal yet. 

The Company will make further announcements as and when there are material developments on the above matter.
