| Working experience and occupation | Yin Kee has over 20 years of experience in the energy, infrastructure, investment, strategy, M&A, business development and management consulting sectors. He was the Managing Director of ENGIE Malaysia from September 2020 to June 2026, and previously served as Deputy Managing Director from October 2016 to August 2020. During his tenure, he was responsible for the P&L performance and growth, and the development and execution of the company's business strategy in Malaysia, with a focus on developing BOOT assets in low-carbon energy solutions, including district cooling, renewable energy and on-site energy infrastructure. He also served as a member of the Executive Committee of ENGIE Southeast Asia, and a director of various ENGIE joint ventures in the district cooling, large-scale renewable energy and data centre sectors in Malaysia. Prior to joining ENGIE, he was Vice President, Business Development of FourWinds Capital Management, and a member of the Investment Committee and portfolio manager of two private equity funds of the company from July 2014 to May 2016. He was involved in private equity investments in Middle East and Asia, and project development in the energy, water and green technology sectors. He served as a director of a US-based investee company focusing on innovative water treatment technology. From May 2010 to June 2014, he was Head of Strategy & Planning of Wah Seong Corporation Berhad (now known as Wasco Berhad), where he was responsible for corporate strategy, M&A and investment activities. He previously served as an Engagement Manager with Schlumberger Business Consulting in Kuala Lumpur and Beijing from June 2006 to April 2010, where he provided strategy and M&A advisory services to international and national oil companies in Southeast Asia, China and Middle East. Prior to that, he was a Senior Business Consultant with RSM Strategic Business Advisors and began his career as a Project Engineer with Malaysian Oxygen Berhad. |
