The Board of Directors of OVH wishes to announce that OVE had on 14 August 2026 received the hardcopy of Writ of Summons and a Statement of Claim both dated 29 July 2026 from Union Plus Aluminium & Glass Sdn. Bhd. through their solicitors, Messrs SY Tang & Co Advocates. Details of which had been disclosed in the previous announcement dated 10 August 2026.
Financial and Operational Impact
The Company wishes to clarify that the allegations contained in the Statement of Claim are claims made by the Plaintiff and have not been adjudicated by the Court. At this juncture, there is no immediate financial and operational impact arising from the litigations other than legal cost and time in defending the claims.
Actions to be taken by the Company
The Company has sought legal advice and appointed external legal counsel to rebut the claims.
Further announcement(s) are to be made by the Company regarding any material developments, including upon conclusion and final resolution of the above matter.
