The Board of Directors of AAPI wishes to announce that the Company had on 1 September 2026 received a written notice dated 28 August 2026 ("Notice") pursuant to Section 281 of the Companies Act 2016 from Messrs TGS TW PLT ("TGS") regarding their resignation as the External Auditors ("EA") of the Company with effect from the expiry of 21 days from the date of the Notice. 

TGS's resignation is on a voluntary basis, following its consideration of its boarder portfolio commitments and resource management priorities, and not for any other reason. Save as disclosed above, the Board is not aware of any other matters relating to TGS's resignation that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.

The Board has commenced the process of identifying and evaluating suitable audit firms for appointment as the Company's new EA to fill the casual vacancy pursuant to Section 271(2)(b) of the Companies Act 2016. A further announcement will be made to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad upon appointment of the new auditors by the Board.
