Working experience and occupation

Mr Chong Kok Chung has more than 13 years of experience across external audit, taxation, financial reporting, group consolidation and corporate finance-related matters, he brings with him extensive experience in financial management, regulatory compliance, listed-company reporting and finance transformation.

He began his career with Wong Yow Seng & Co in 2013 as an auditor and subsequently joined Cleanpro Laundry Holdings Sdn Bhd, with responsibilities covering financial reporting, taxation matters, treasury management and group consolidation functions.

In 2021, he joined Lim Seong Hai Capital Berhad as an Accounts Executive and was progressively promoted to Senior Accounts Manager in 2024, with responsibilities covering complex group consolidation, financial performance analysis and reporting, listed company reporting and corporate exercises. Mr Chong was subsequently appointed to the position of Financial Controller on 1 September 2026.

Mr Chong Kok Chung is the Financial Controller of Lim Seong Hai Capital Berhad and its subsidiaries ("Group"). He has been with the Group since June 2021 and has held progressively senior roles within the Group finance function, including serving in a finance leadership role since his promotion to Senior Accounts Manager in December 2024. Through these roles, he has become very familiar with the Group operations, financial reporting processes, governance framework and internal control environment, and possesses the requisite experience and capability to ensure seamless continuity with no disruption to assume the day-to-day management of the Group finance and accounting functions.
