Petron Malaysia Refining & Marketing Bhd ("PMRMB") refers to its announcement dated October 22, 2019 in relation to the technical problem with the Single Buoy Mooring ("SBM") system, that resulted in PMRMB's refinery at Port Dickson, being unable to receive crude oil from ships temporarily. The said announcement also mentioned (as informed to PMRMB by the operator of the SBM) that the SBM is expected to be operational by early November 2019.

PMRMB is pleased to announce that the repairs to the SBM had been completed by the operator, on October 31, 2019 - earlier than expected. Following observation and monitoring of the SBM's operational capabilities post repair works, PMRMB is able to report that the SBM is now capable of receiving crude oil from ships for purposes of processing at the refinery.
