Rasydan started his career in PriceWaterHouse Cooper, one of the Big Four audit firms where he left as an assistant manager having dealt with special audits for listings, mergers & acquisitions, and debt restructurings after four (4) years of tenure in the said audit firm.  
 
Thereafter, he joined the Investigation Division of Bursa Malaysia in 1999. During his four (4) years of service here, he has performed and gained various experience in leading investigative tasks; monitoring, preventing and cracking down on misconducts and market manipulations of stock broking and listed companies.

Up until 2013, Rasydan served in the Inai Kiara Group of Companies, a leading dredging company before he left as the Senior General Manager in Finance and Subcontract Division and also, he simultaneously became the Chief Executive Officer of a concession holder for dredging and marine port construction for all Federal Ports in Malaysia taking the management role of planning overall Company Strategy, Strategic and Operational Plans and ensuring that the business' goals and targets are achieved. Besides that, he was also appointed as the director of a related company while serving as a member of the Executive Chairman's office handling special tasks for the Executive Chairman.

Two (2) years ago, he resigned as the Senior General Manager (Head of Group Strategic and Enterprise Risk Management) of FGV Berhad to further his studies in courses to enhance his skills and knowledge in other areas.

Rasydan has also previously held memberships as Secretary General for Eastern Asia Dredging Association for 2010 to 2013 and 2013 to 2016, Board Members of World Dredging Association from 2009 to 2012 and Committee Members for Dredging Association Committee.
