The indirect interest of 41,076,927 are deemed held by virtue of his shareholdings in Middle Entity (M) Sdn Bhd pursuant to Section 6A of the Companies Act, 1965 Sukunan A/L Kandasamy and Annadurai A/L A. Kandasamy being his brothers' direct interest in Kannaltec Berhad. This announcement is made in respect to a notification by a directors of the Company i.e Datuk Mohan A/L A Kandasamy on the accidental sale of shares by his remiser during close period. The remiser had errorneously sold 40,000 shares on 5 August 2009 belonging to Datuk Mohan A/L A Kandasamy while executing instruction from another client. The mistake had rendered the director as has had dealings in securities during close period without prior notice. However, the remiser having realised the error, had on 6 August 2009, acquired the same 40,000 shares and informed the director of her mistake. It is to be noted that with the mistake having been rectified, the shareholding status of Datuk Mohan A/L A Kandasamy remained unchanged. |
