(Unless otherwise defined, defined terms used in this announcement shall carry the same meaning as those defined in the announcement dated 13 April 2018 in relation to the SCR) We refer to the announcements dated 16 March 2018, 13 April 2018, 17 April 2018, 17 May 2018, 18 May 2018, 11 June 2018, 2 July 2018, 5 September 2018, 6 September 2018 and 7 September 2018 in relation to the SCR. On behalf of the Board, Alliance Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that pursuant to Section 116(6) of the Act, the resolution for the SCR has taken effect on 26 September 2018 following the lodgement of the office copy of the High Court Order dated 5 September 2018 with the Registrar of Companies in Malaysia on 26 September 2018. Consequential to the lodgement of the High Court Order, the MWE Shares held by the Entitled Shareholders have been cancelled. The settlement of the SCR Cash Amount will be effected on 5 October 2018. This announcement is dated 26 September 2018. |
