The Board of Directors of YLC is pleased to announce that YLTC Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. 1256105-X) (“YLTC”), [a joint-venture company between TASCO Berhad (Company No. 20218-T) and Yee Lee Trading Co. Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. 7849-A) which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of YLC] had on today entered into a Purchase Contract (“Contract”) with Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. 6087-M), a company incorporated in Malaysia whose principal business address is at Menara Shell, No. 211, Jalan Tun Sambanthan, 50470 Kuala Lumpur (“Shell”) to be appointed as their contractor for provision of Supply Chain Services for Shell Convenience Retail Outlets in Peninsula Malaysia to Permitted Buyers, as described in the Contract and upon all the terms and conditions as stipulated in the Contract.

The Contract has an effective date of 1 October 2018 and will terminate on 30 September 2021, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the terms and condition of the Contract. Shell may, by giving YLTC thirty (30) days’ written notice, extend the Contract for a further period of two (2) years from 1 October 2021 to 30 September 2023 in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract and of which may be revised in accordance with the mutual agreement of both parties.

The Contract is expected to contribute positively to future earnings of YLC.

None of the Directors and major shareholders of Yee Lee or any persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the Contract.
