We refer to the announcements dated 16 March 2018, 13 April 2018, 17 April 2018, 17 May 2018, 18 May 2018, 11 June 2018 and 2 July 2018 in relation to the SCR.

On behalf of the Board, Alliance Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that the High Court of Malaya had on 5 September 2018 granted an order confirming the reduction of share capital in accordance with Section 116 of the Act ("High Court Order"). All the conditions of the SCR have been satisfied.

The SCR will take effect upon the lodgement of an office copy of the High Court Order with the Registrar of Companies pursuant to Section 116(6) of the Act.

The entitlement date in respect of the SCR will be announced in due course.
